Vehicle Importation Services (Commercial Vehicles from Japan Only)
Due to Dennison Enterprises’ limited stock availability and the complications and delays concerning our special request service, we are now offering a new service:

**Vehicle Importation Services**.
After you select your supplier and vehicle, We can import your vehicle! We will work closely with your supplier to ensure a smooth import process.
**Our Services Include:**
TCD Vehicle Specifications
We will provide the Transport Control Department (TCD) with your vehicle details and submit accompanying pictures to obtain your import letter.
The Necessary Documents
We will collaborate with your supplier to secure the necessary documents required for Bermuda Customs and TCD, including:
- Bill of Lading (the original document must be sent by mail from your chosen supplier shortly after your vehicle leaves Japan and is en route to Bermuda).
- Original Export Certificate.
- Translated Export Certificate.
- Optional: Vehicle Inspection Certificate (this will incur an additional fee charged by your supplier).
Customs Release Note
To obtain your release note from the Bermuda Customs Department, the customs duty for your vehicle must be paid. We will handle this payment on your behalf.
Import Duty
We will pay all customs and wharfage fees on your behalf, occasional additional charges may apply.
Your vehicle will be delivered from the dock to one of our two locations in Hamilton.
We will guide you through the procedure to take your vehicle to TCD for the initial inspection and registration including signage, Tare and Load etc, Additionally, we will provide you with a draft letter to request permission from TCD to replace your vehicle or apply for a new permit. We can also supply the application form and offer relevant advice.
**Please Note: Additional Charges for Which the Buyer Will Be Responsible:**
- Vehicle Insurance
- Day Permit Fee (required to take your vehicle to TCD)
- TCD Fee for the new permit
- Annual Registration Fee
- Signage Fee
**Payment Information**
Below is a breakdown of the payments you will need to make at time of purchase:
- Payment to Dennison Enterprises** (An invoice will be provided):
– Customs Duty Fees
– Customs Clearance Processing Fees
– Our Service Fee
– Dock Vehicle Scanning
– Collection and Delivery Fee for your vehicle from the dock to our location
– Fuel Addition Fee (Most vehicles arrive with very low fuel; we will add fuel to your vehicle)
- Optional Assistance: We can assist you by sending a bank wire transfer to your supplier, which includes foreign exchange (FX) fees and wire transfer fees.
- Payment to Your Supplier: You can send a CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) payment to your supplier directly from your bank.
